About PowerZone

Where Protection Becomes Intelligence

We exist to solve one of the most persistent challenges in human safety — the gap between impact and awareness. PowerZone is building the infrastructure to close it.

Our Mission

To engineer intelligent protective systems that detect, transmit, and act on real-world impact data — protecting athletes, warfighters, and first responders before injury becomes catastrophic.

Every product we develop is built around a single conviction: that the human body deserves smarter protection. Not heavier armor. Not more padding. Smarter systems — ones that sense, communicate, and respond in real time.

Our Vision

A world where no preventable injury goes undetected. Where the fabric you wear and the sensors you don't see are as intelligent as the mission they support.

We envision a future where impact-sensing technology is standard issue — in every helmet, every vest, every uniform — across sports, defense, and emergency response globally.

Why PowerZone Exists

Born from a Problem That Couldn't Be Ignored

In 2012, Vic Mason began developing the IMS GO sensor system in direct response to the concussion crisis sweeping every level of football. The problem was clear: impacts were happening, damage was accumulating, and no one had real-time visibility into what the body was absorbing.

The NFL recognized the potential and awarded Vic a research grant to advance the technology. That work evolved into something far broader — a platform capable of sensing, transmitting, and acting on impact data across multiple industries and use cases.

PowerZone Group Technologies Corporation is the result of that decade-plus of development: a company purpose-built to bring intelligent protective fabric to the people who need it most.

Guiding Principles

How We Operate

Protection First

Every decision we make is filtered through a single question: does this make people safer? Technology for its own sake has no place here.

Precision Over Speed

We move deliberately. The stakes of our work — human safety — demand that we get it right before we scale it.

Open Collaboration

We actively seek engineering partners, institutional allies, and domain experts. The best protective systems are built by the best teams.

Proven, Not Promised

We communicate what is real and what is in development. Our credibility depends on the distinction between proof-of-concept and production-ready.

Leadership

The Team Behind PowerZone

Vic Mason

Founder & CEO

Vic Mason has been a successful entrepreneur and patent holder since 1995, beginning with the Monster Slam toy backboard — a product he created, patented, and trademarked, and for which he became the first African American to receive a license from the NBA. He went on to operate Luxury Group Partners, a thriving high-end car dealership in Scottsdale, Arizona, for over a decade. In 2012, Vic began development of the IMS GO sensor system to address the growing concussion crisis at all levels of football. The NFL awarded him a grant to further his research, which has since expanded into the full suite of impact-sensing fabric technologies now under development at PowerZone.

David Page

EVP & Global Director of Operations

David Page has been active in the electronic component marketplace since 1995, working for several of the world's largest independent distributors and supplying PCB board-level components to major OEM companies worldwide — including Valeo, Nokia, Ericsson, and Intel. Fluent in Dutch, French, and conversational Spanish, David's 30-year career in Sales and Marketing includes nearly nine years as an Arizona Branch Manager overseeing global purchasing and sales of electronic products. His deep component knowledge and extensive network across North America and Europe position PowerZone to secure competitive pricing and quality results from the EMS companies designing and building the data transmission module for the PZ1. David joined PowerZone in 2025 and established a European operational base to support local suppliers and engineering partners.
